How Sioux City Radon Works

A plain-language look at who we are, what we do, and what we do not do.

Referral service | Independent, insured local companies | No fee to submit a request

We Are a Referral Service

Sioux City Radon is a referral service operated by Apex Development Group USA LLC. We publish helpful information about radon mitigation in Sioux City, IA and the surrounding area, and we connect homeowners with independent local companies that do the work.

We are not the contractor. We do not perform, supervise or warrant any work. The company that contacts you is independent, sets its own prices and schedule, and is responsible for its own work, insurance and any license the job requires.

What Happens When You Ask for a Quote

  1. You send a request. Use the quote form or call (712) 938-3050. Tell us the town, what you are seeing and what you need.
  2. We route it. We pass your details and project description to an independent, insured local company that handles this kind of work in your area.
  3. The company contacts you. It may call, text or email using the details you gave us. It decides whether and how to quote your job.
  4. You decide. There is no obligation to hire anyone. Compare what you hear, ask questions, and choose what fits.

What We Do Not Do

  • We do not set prices, and this site does not publish prices.
  • We do not inspect your property or give engineering, legal or medical advice.
  • We do not control any company's schedule, availability or response time.
  • We do not endorse any single company's work on your specific job.

Questions to Ask Any Company

  • Do you hold the Iowa credential for radon mitigation, and can you show it?
  • Are you insured, and can you send proof of coverage?
  • Will you test first, or use my existing test result, and what does the result tell you?
  • Where will the suction point, pipe and fan go, and where will the pipe vent?
  • How will you seal the sump pit, cracks and other entry points?
  • How will you confirm the system works, and who does the follow-up test?
  • What does the warranty cover, and what maintenance is expected?
  • Where will the fan run, and how will it be noticed (noise, alarm, gauge)?

How We Keep Information Honest

Facts on this site about local conditions come from public sources such as government agencies, universities and extension services, and we leave out anything we could not verify. If you spot something that looks wrong, tell us by phone and we will review it.
